We were not there, Father, when You founded the earth.
When You determined the dimensions or stretched the measuring line across it…
When You called up the dawn and made the morning know its place…
It would have been so wonderful to have been able to be there to watch as You created.
But You give us a glimpse of that time with each new day that dawns.
To the eye, in the dark before dawn, heaven and earth are there but there is no form which we can see.
You call forth light and gradually the sky above begins to appear, earth is distinguished from water, grass and plants and trees take form, the light that rules the day grows brighter and that which rules the night fades away.
The creatures of the air fly about, those of the water school and swarm.
The creatures of the land move about and we can see them as they do.
Men and women awake and begin their day.
All living, being fruitful and multiplying.
In each new day we see, we experience creation, if we take the time to see and hear.
And if we do and consider the source it can be a grand experience.
Blessed are You Oh Lord our God…
Creator and Husbandman of all.
Your works are wondrous indeed.
Grant that we would ever be appreciative.
In Yeshua’s name we pray…
Amen.
