“What variety there is in Your works, ‘Yehoveh’!
How many [of them there are]!
In wisdom You have made them all;
the earth is full of Your creations.” Psalm 104:24 CJB
Father, the number of Your works is beyond counting, and the variety of each even more so.
With unfathomable wisdom You have “marvelously made” and “intricately woven” all of creation’s various parts and pieces to be members together in oneness, each one having its own uniqueness and purpose, contributing to the whole. The whole earth flourishes and glorifies You.
Your set-apart times, when observed, bring into a special oneness Your many and varied sons and daughters.
When we come together, we come seeking and bringing the joy of fellowshipping with family members… those we know and new ones we haven’t known, and do so in Your presence.
Each is contributing their part to the whole… a unique person, with their own stories and experiences. We come to share understandings and to seek understandings, to teach and be taught… to break bread that nourishes our bodies and the bread that nourishes our spirits.
We gather to praise You and worship You.
We’ve departed, for a brief time, from the world for a taste now of what is to come, to be encouraged by one another’s presence… knowing that as we each return to our various places, we are not by ourselves but part of a great “many”, that are being fitted together… many and varied individual pieces, “intricately woven” and “marvelously made” into lovely, harmonious and joyful oneness.
This is Your doing, and we love You so much for it.
May we, as well, flourish and glorify You… Abba, Dear Father.
