Would You actually harden my heart Oh God?
Would You arbitrarily harden my heart so that my destruction would be assured?
Or is the question better put:
Is it that one can one be predetermined to destruction… or is it to be understood that at some point, in a continual line of choices to disregard You, to harden ones’ own heart, to not fear and obey You…
one reaches a point where You decide:
“Very well, you “lost one” who continuously refuses to answer My call… those of you who will shake your fists in My face when instead you should repent and turn to Me…
Very well, you disrespectful and disobedient child who sins unrepentantly, one tiny heart hardening bit at a time…disrespecting Me and testing My grace…
You have chosen to harden your heart against me once too often. I have probed you and know your heart. Have it your way then. I permanently seal this hardness.”
“…for the time is at hand.
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
Through the hard hearted and the hearts of those who love Me… I will be glorified.”
The prayer Father is for wisdom to fear You, a knowledge of You that inspires love for You and a will to be obedient to Your Ways… in all our ways.
“Search us Father…
Know our hearts…
Try us….
Know our thoughts….
See if there be any wicked way in us….
Lead us in the Way Everlasting.”
