2nd Day Prayer
It is unimaginable Father, for those of us who have not experienced it, to know what it feels like to lose a friend, a loved one, to see defenseless life, forever taken, the result of senseless, mindless, methodical violence.
But tonight there are those who do know what this is like. They weren’t prepared Father, they weren’t expecting this.
Father, we gather together in unity and pray to You… Father… on their behalf, that You would be present and a guard for them in the vulnerable, unguarded moments when they fall apart, a hand hold to keep them steady, as confused, they struggle to make sense of it all.
Be an ear to which their sobbing and anger and hate can go straight to.
Be a comfort please, that will enable them to accept the finality of it all, company in which they can weep the tears of acceptance.
In due course Father…Father…grant grace, to have the heart of Yeshua, His heart of forgiveness, and leave judgment to You.
Father…have mercy! Comfort please… those who mourn.
In Yeshua’s name we pray,
