In our dealings with one another, Father, we pray that the heart of love Yeshua demonstrated in His ministry towards the fallen He came to save… that He came to make a way to have eternal fellowship with… would be in us towards one another… within the family and those outside the family.
Past… or even present… short comings… should they not be… “A Factor” … but not “The Factor” … for evaluating the appropriateness of fellowship with someone who in the past has had a moral failing?
You have not and Yeshua did not offer everlasting, covenantal fellowship with You… to perfect people… All are or were tainted yet You desired, and desire, intimacy with us. Conviction, repentance and surrender to Your will… belief and trust that You will and do forgive, cleanse and embrace us… shouldn’t these be the fruit we look for in one another’s lives… and help to achieve?
May our zealousness be tempered with wisdom yes… but also with gentleness as we live to walk and grow in fellowship with You… and with one another… both in the family and outside it.
In Yeshua’s name we pray…
