2nd Day Prayer – When We Stumble…

Help, help us to know Father, what is the right thing to do.
Our rest is behind us, that day when we paused and reflected as did the psalmist:

“For, Jehovah, what You do makes me happy;
I take joy in what Your hands have made.
How great are Your deeds, Jehovah!
How very deep Your thoughts.”

That day when our thoughts of You and our love for one another was our focus and refreshing, as we turned away for a time, from the press of the world.

Today we return our attention to our normal work and the affairs of the world going on around us and we pray Father that we would indeed engage with a freshness and renewed spirit, may it remain with us and be a blessing to others throughout the week.

As we pray to You in humbleness and trust and love, as we consult with You, probing Your Word, teach us and guide us so that we can know what is the right thing to do, and what pleases You, so that we will be truthful witnesses and helpful companions.

When we stumble, when the Accuser, crouching there, seeks to whisper into us a spirit of doubt, self condemnation and defeatism, may we cling to You, trust in Your forgiveness and renew our efforts. In our weakness Father, be our strength.
Then we will be strong… and…

May You be glorified!

We offer to You thanksgiving, heartfelt praise, Father, bowed down and humble worship, honor, acknowledgement, obedience, trust and love.

You are worthy “Oh God,” Abba, Father.

In Yeshua’s name we pray,

Amen.
