Father, may we be “In the Spirit”… walking out our daily lives physically by applying Your commandments and instructions… that our conduct and behavior, the way we think and talk, our motives and decisions might be actions towards others into which we purposely add, in some small but necessary way, “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control.”
May we also be “In the Spirit,” Father, the spiritual awareness of Your presence… Your stirring within us… through which You convey to us… Your children… love and joy, kindness and peace…
Though circumstances may test our faith, You are patient… and good, faithfully good to us Father.
Bless us Father… to be “In the Spirit”… to be close to You…
in quiet moments of prayer when we call out… cry out…
in moments of song, singing out…
in moments of worship and praise…
to You Father…
when Father… You reach out… strengthen and reassure by Your nearness that You have not abandoned or forsaken…
that You are going to work everything for good…
Indeed… “Garments of praise… for the spirit of heaviness…”
“Turning our mourning into dancing.”
How awesome You are, how sweet it is… “In the Spirit”.
