On waking my first thought Father… I’m sooo glad it is finally here. It’s the final day of endless banter (to be kind). We can change the subject. Find a new focus. Maybe the work of government, for the good of the people, can be returned to.
Hopefully Father, we have not cast our lot with one or the other in a mistaken belief and trust that…
they have all the answers and they will enact policies and laws that will ensure justice and good will and well being for all…
that their governance will be based in Your morality, absolute and perfect, that glorifies You and does no harm to our fellow man.
For no man or group has ever fulfilled that vision.
But not to despair Father. We do not despair.
The “assembly of Your people” know You and strive unceasingly, to trust in You, and follow uncompromisingly after Your policies and laws.
There is no confusion for them.
There is no fear.
We stand independent… our standard is the one You have given us… when there is conflict with the world there is no worry about what to be obedient to.
You “rule over them (us) from on high.”
We are free in You.
Guide us Father, grant grace and understanding and wisdom to live uprightly before You… towards and with all people…with inner peace…
To glorify You, do no harm to others… no matter what.
Oh Righteous God… who searches minds and souls…
Dance with me… Oh Lover of my soul…
Give us garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness…
Yahweh, Yahweh, Yahweh… we love to shout Your name Oh Lord…
We sing to You…
In Yeshua’s name…
