2nd Day Prayer

“…lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called.

Always be humble, gentle and patient, bearing with one another in love, and making every effort to preserve the unity the Spirit gives through the binding power of shalom…”  Ephesians 4:1-3 CJB

Father, we humbly acknowledge that we, each one, are but a small part of one whole and that all the various parts must fit and function according to their calling… harmoniously together in unity.

When we walk in Your peace Father, there is grace to be humble, and gentle and patient… then we can bear with one another… interact with one another with calmness, and self control, with evenness of temperament… then we can maintain dignity… our own and that of our brothers and sisters… all in love.

These make up the binding power of peace… they inspire unity and preserve it.

Father we thank You for the peace that passes understanding, for the attributes it enables in us and we pray Father that in so living our lives, Your people will be built up, Your Kingdom furthered, and that we will have lived our lives worthy of the calling which You called each of us to.

May You be glorified.

In Yeshua’s name we pray.

Amen.
