Father…as we continue through these days of candle lighting, we bring to remembrance in yet another way Your great deeds done on behalf of those who love You.
You are light and life that burns warm and marvelously bright… endlessly.
Touching Your wick to ours, You have lighted us like so many candles, also to be light in the dark places of this world.
May our flames continually burn such that wherever we are we would be a source of the light You kindled in us… for those with whom we share time and presence.
May that light so shine, through goodness extended to beyond ourselves, that all who see will be drawn…
and give You glory.
