Minchah Prayer

“…They say, ‘Come, let’s wipe them out as a nation;

Let the name of Isra’el be remembered no more!’”

“…Let’s take possession of God’s meadows for ourselves.”

Psalm 83:5(4),13(12) CJB.

Three thousand years Father, from the time of the Psalmist’s prophetic words given him, in a time of national unity and peace, we see it even now… a spirit and an agenda that hasn’t changed.

Father… such uninterrupted continuity of hatred towards You and Yours… preserved in the hearts, and given physical expression in the flesh, of those in generation after generation willing to follow after the “…rulers , authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness… spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm…”

And it seems Father, the degree of evil, the outcome of this hate, is limited only by the degree to which one is willing to be obedient to these chosen masters. So we see the variety and extent of man’s inhumanity to man that we see, done with ease, without mercy, with enjoyment…it’s unimaginable and incomprehensible, and enraging.

Is this not a season for setting aside mercy. Is it not a season for hardening of the heart and mercilessness till the evil is gotten rid of?

What of the defenseless and innocents caught between, Father? Why is it that they have to suffer, and they are, and they will… one at the hands of their captors… the other at the hands of the avengers?

We know there is a counter to dark powers and principalities.

We know You are.

You and You alone are Ruler, Authority, Cosmic Power and Spiritual Good, Master and Governor over all existence.

Nations are judged by You in which all reap blessing or curse.

But after national judgment there is individual judgment. One will not suffer for the sins of another or reap the reward due another. Justice and mercy will be perfectly done.

Father, we are human and weak in moments of suffering, pain and loss and however true are words of encouragement we are not always consoled.

May it not be for lack of faith or a destroyer of our trust.

Father, as this war progresses in The Land, please, may Your hand be on it, directing in all that is done… that killing for the sake of vengeance and blood lust would not happen, that indiscriminate and pointless cruelty will not happen, that innocents and helpless will not be targeted, that mercy will be extended when possible, that broken hearts will be mended and that the shame of it all will break stony hearts there and everywhere… and draw them to You.

May the degree of goodness we aspire to and achieve be limited only by the degree to which we are willing to be obedient to You and may there be no limit to that.

Who is like You…Abba Dear Father?

Blessed are You… Abba our Dear Father…

In Yeshua’s name we pray…

Amen.
