Minchah Prayer

“…when You showed me a favor, ADONAI,

I was firm as a mighty mountain.

But when You hid Your face,

I was struck with terror…” Psalm 30:8(7) CJB

“…Tears may linger for the night,

But with dawn come cries of joy.” Psalm 30:6(5) CJB

May it never be Father that You would hide Your face from us. If You did it would be our doing. But the thought that You would not hear our prayers, that You would truly turn away from us, is frightening.

By ourselves and all alone what solace, what hope, what encouragement would there be in the face of “troubling's”?

In the dark, before sleep when fears and anxiousness are magnified in our minds beyond what they really should be… where would be Your ministering reassurance, the waking to a new day, settled in spirit because You are with us,

Light in which we could walk, Light in which dark giants are dwarfed… where would this be if You turned away from us?

May the fear we have Father not be because we realize we have driven You to hide from us by our own abandonment of You… but may it be because the new man has only momentarily forgotten that You care for and watch over Your own and though there may be dark giants to face, You are near and are a shield for us and will accompany us through all the circumstances of life… to death and beyond.

May we not try Your love and faithfulness towards us Father.

May we remain in Your favor… be “firm as a mighty mountain”…

in all our circumstances Father, cling to You… trust… obey.

You are awesome…Abba, Dear Father…

There is no other like You…

Worthy of all the praise we can offer up…

Worthy of all honor and glory…

Humbled and grateful that in Your great majesty, You extend to us loving-kindness.

May we understand the significance and never regard it lightly.

In Yeshua’s name, we pray,

Amen.
