Minchah Prayer

“This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope.

It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning;

Great is Thy faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:21-23 AKJV

Father, Your mercies are new every morning. How great is Your faithfulness!

When our bodies fail, and we feel the pain and weakness of sickness, of broken parts… of diminishing mental capacity…of suffering the wear and tear of life…

When in the midst of dealing with these circumstances the voice of the physical distracts the condition of our spirits… tempting us away from hope, away from peace and the ability to experience any gladness…

Father… in those times of vulnerability we need You so…

Quicken Your Spirit… within us that are in the test… and those close at hand…

May the voice of Your Spirit be what is heard and focused on…

That we would hear the words of reassurance that You are compassionate and merciful, that these are fresh and new every morning…

words giving “strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.”

Help us to be strong in our faith, and trust… that You work all to good… Abba, Dear Father.

May You be praised still, even as tears of trouble mix with Your assuring peace and joy.

Comfort Ye Your children Father… comfort them we pray…

In Yeshua’s name,

Amen.

“Great is Thy Faithfulness”
