“but whoso hearkeneth unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” Proverbs 1:33 AKJV
That’s where we want to be Father; “…quiet from the fear of evil…”
to have in our spirit a sense of safety as we walk in this day and not one of a worry-wart or negativity in us because of circumstances, be they great or small…
May our words of prayer not be just words absent trust and true belief, mouthed out of habit and we not really be reaching out, grasping hold of Your hand…being attentive to Your Word of encouragement and instruction… and not letting go.
It doesn’t take long, in on those last few, quiet moments of sleep, before the realities we closed our eyes to in the night and the business of the day ahead, come marching into our thoughts.
Before we know it time is slipping by and though we may progress in some ways, in other things important things to us, we are stymied and at a standstill and as the time passes we feel the need to do something but know not what… and the time…the time keeps ticking away Father... and something just needs to happen.
As we stand, looking at what seems like impossible things to deal with, do to us like You did to the prophet’s servant in just such a circumstance…and open our eyes to see, over the heads of surrounding circumstances before us, Your vast army of heaven behind them… Your army against which no problem, no issue, no minor difficulty or majorly consequential reality can render us motionless and take control… and in so seeing…receive of You quieting and peacefulness… and in that spirit we step toward and through those things that lie between the sunrises and sunsets of our every day.
You are God of the living…
In You Father… there is fullness of joy.
Enable us to endure, overcome, the pains… of the flesh Father and the spirit of the flesh…
with the pleasure of Your company… the comfort of Your promises... the assurance of Your sovereignty over all we find ourselves in.
May we engage life and one another in Your love.. preferring Your ways…
see creation and created beings to be delighted in beyond what is imperfect before us.
May we become and be like You, handle things like You, in Your strength be masters in circumstances neither immobilized or enslaved.
Humble and awed before You... Father…
We stand in defiant and absolutely sane minded confidence before the world…
Your love in us…
This is the day…You have made…
We rejoice and are glad in it.
That we would not ever mistrust or doubt this knowledge... deny ourselves its benefits.
In Yeshua’s name we pray… and trust…and are glad…Abba Dear Father…
Glory… Glory!!! To You.
Amen… and it will be so.
