2nd Day Prayer – Angels Around Us

“…So he sent horses, chariots and a large army there; they came by night and surrounded the city. The servant of the man of God got up early in the morning; on going outside, he saw an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. His servant said to him, ‘Oh, my master, this is terrible! What are we going to do?’ He answered, ‘Don’t be afraid- those who are with us outnumber those who are with them!’  Elisha prayed, ‘ADONAI, I ask You to open his eyes, so that he can see.’ Then ADONAI opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw; there before him, all around Elisha, the mountain was covered with horses and fiery chariots…”

Father…

Angels around us as we travel,
Angels around us ministering at bedsides, to the body and to the heart,
Angels around us in our decision making,
Angels around us while we listen, as we hear,
Angels around us as we talk, kindly, truthfully, encouragingly,
Angels around us when fatigue makes us prone to err,
Angels around us as we answer questioning and doubt with trust and faith,
Angels around us when our tempers flare and we are in danger of sinning,
Angels around us as we rebuke a lie, a deception, a betrayal of trust,

Angels around us as we “mikveh” ourselves in Your Word;
Open our eyes Master, so that we see.

Angels around us, standing guard, as we bow to You in prayer.

When the adversary and his army come in the dark and surround,
Then… angels around us…
and may fears and anxiousness be replaced with confidence and well being.

Greater are You Jehovah God and those with You, than he and those with him.

We love You, mighty and all powerful One.

In Yeshua’s name we pray,

Amen.

2 Kings 6:14-17 CJB.
