2nd Day Prayer

“If I hadn’t believed that I would see

(Yahweh’s) goodness in the land of the living,…” Psalm 27:13 CJB

Father… what is the uncompleted thought, here, in the musings of King David?

Could it be that it was only in the belief that You are near, that You watch over, that Your good does exist now, in this life, that he can… what?… be encouraged, be assured, have a sure hope, derive gladness in a world around him that was so often dark and threatening?… that he would have strength, even the desire to go on?

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”  Psalm 27:13 AKJV

Father…he would have “fainted”.

May we too believe Your goodness does exist now, today, in this world…

May we be looking for it always… enable us to see it with as much clarity as we do the so much bad…

that we not “faint”.

(Our hope is in You, Abba Dear Father…

We wait on You, will be of good courage as You strengthen our hearts… We wait on You…) verse 14

In Yeshua’s name we pray…

Amen.
