Father…may we pursue the knowledge of Your Word and grant us please, wisdom:
knowledge Father, not just for the sake of knowing but for use, and wisdom in its use.
You are good…and You are just.
You are demanding…and You are understanding.
You are forgiving…and You support.
May we open our eyes and judge what we see…judge within the framework of Your Ways.
Are the laws of our land made and enacted for the protection of all and with deference to none as are Yours?
Do we punish…that justice might be served for those wronged…as You require?
Are we measured in our punishment, and imposing restitution, so that there is fairness to the wrongdoer, lessons of consequence are taught, and allowance for a new start is made?
Are we merciful and forgiving when confronted with remorse and repentance?
Wisdom Father… and discernment… and courage we need.
May we judge…Father…
the morality of our choices and behavior by the standard and spirit of Your Word…
then behave in obedience to that standard, and in harmony with that Spirit…
careful to discern and turn away from what the world allows as acceptable but is not from Your perspective.
May we be continuously transformed Father so that Your Ways are what are attractive to us for pleasure and peace, for truth and meaningfulness and clear conscience…
for successfully living a life uprightly before You.
May we take and eat from that Tree… Father.
Wisdom Father…and discernment… and courage we need.
You who will never abandon or forsake…
Who will be with us, wherever we are…
Who will never fail us…
We cast our lot with You Father God… trusting...
and praying…
in Yeshua’s name …
