Father thank You for this new day.
As we live it out Father, may we do so according to what we already know of Your ways.
May we continually search Your Word and call on Your Spirit for guidance when we are unsure about what Your instruction would be.
In the absence of a specific word Abba, in the activity of the moment, we move ahead with the intent to act in Your character and to do things in a way You would approve and be glorified by.
May it be our purpose and may it be meaningful to us and our pleasure to heed the wise counsel of those before us, to say yes… to what is of You and say no… to what is not.
