Father, as we light Hanukkah candles may the small light they shed on us bring to mind how You created us to dwell in the marvelous light of Your presence.
May we think how eternal Light and Life came into this world from above to overcome darkness.
May we be mindful that that eternal Light and Life came to indwell us that darkness might not overcome us… ever.
May belief and trust in the everlastingness of our walk with You enable us to be of good cheer, even in times of tribulation, because You have overcome the darkness.
