“In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, righteous pure, lovable or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy…” Philippians 4:8 CJB.
We should start then, with focus on You, Father, because You are all these… to perfection…
We have the true and perfect example to pattern ourselves after so that we too might be noble and righteous and pure…lovable, admirable, virtuous and praiseworthy…
Father… that we would desire with all our hearts and strive with all our will, to be so…
Father… that our focus and energy would extend out beyond ourselves to others, to brothers and sisters in the faith, to those still wandering… to join with and aid one another… in this wonderful pursuit to be… to see in one another… and establish in this world… these attributes… the fruit of unity with You… a well spring of joy and peace we can all drink from…
By the power and instruction of Your Word…
Guided correctly by Your Spirit within us Father…
We pray… and You be glorified…
