Father… the time is coming when what we have created to be tools to “improve” our lives, we will become enslaved to.
Already we are at a point where our trust in the good and rightness of our institutions is undermined, the extent of their corruption is highly visible and is actually being accepted.
There are piles and piles of information out there but who knows what can be believed, what or who can be trusted?
The “feel” of things is that forces are at work that are affecting our lives in negative ways… we find out when it’s done or see it happen, and we have no control… have to live our lives reactively… or so we think.
So we would be gods deciding who should live and who should die, what should be believed, what to think, what to speak, and what is natural.
We would be creators of soulless machines which will take on a life of their own but will become slaves to them because they are manmade and the framework for their decision-making is whatever seems best in the minds of those who create them. Their law and testimony are flawed and lead to darkness.
They can be all-powerful and all-present but are not all-knowing. There is in them no love, no love of justice, no compassion or mercy, no capacity to empathize with the creatures over who they are given authority, no ability to know the mind and heart, no Law or Testimony that sheds light.
Father when the times and circumstances around us drive us to the point we don’t know what’s what reminds us there is a God in the land, whose Law and Testimony we can trust and use for discerning the times and how to live rightly in those times.
Your Word is our guide for these times, for all times.
May It be our default, go to, for judging the circumstances around us so that we not be confused… so that we can live daily in confidence that we are right with You and doing right by our fellow man.
Be Light within us Father, and on our path…
and may You be glorified.
