Father… we thank You for this new day…
for this time we are sharing with You …
and with one another…
We thank You for providing our needs, Father…
We thank You for Your watch and keep over us
in all our comings and goings…
We thank You there is a place to be accessed through
simple thoughts about, and conversation with, You,
a place in which we can find a calm that is relief and rest for our
spirit…
a place in which, though realities may remain and await,
You lift up off of us, the weight of “troublings” and the
“fearfulnesses” attached to them…
and from which we can go in a spirit of peace and good will towards one another…
