“I will bless ADONAI at all times; His praise will always be in my mouth…”
We wake to the new day Father and the first thing to come to mind, the first thing we do is say “Thank You Father, praise You. Creation is beautiful. How wonderful is life, life experienced with You. We bless You. We seize the day You have given, look for the signs of Your goodness that are there to be found…It is this we choose to set our minds on… to counter every negativity lying in wait with a… “Yes but…” there is You”…
“ADONAI brings to nothing the plans of nations,
He foils the plans of the peoples…”
In spite of what goes on Father, You are in control. We can and should acknowledge the bad, the troubles, but we can choose to focus on the good that is… as well… and dwell there instead, take comfort that in this ongoing fight with the flesh and in the spiritual realm we are able to stand because You are with us, You energize us, the wounds hurt but don’t result in defeat… so Father, who or what against us need we fear?
Be ever near us Father, protecting us from the Adversary, so that our faith never diminishes and our trust in You never falters. Be always our strength in our walk that we may endure… to the finish… and endure in a way that glorifies You and gains us favor in Your eyes.
In the midst of all that is happening beyond our control or within it, in the midst of all that we will do…may there be nothing wrong in this new day Father, that we cannot overcome… overcome with praise and thanksgiving offered up, with searching out and dwelling on… the goodness that is in Your Word and in the heart and actions of Your children one to another, and towards all.
May Your light, Your goodness, and gladness dominate in our spirits, overflow from the fullness of hearts and minds dedicated to You at all times, in all things…
