“…for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.”
We forget our place Father, that You don’t exist for our pleasure but we for Yours.
Our purpose is to know You Father and what pleases You, and to make ourselves available to You whenever You call.
May it be that in the knowledge You could force Yourself upon us but don’t, we would be attracted.
May the attraction grow into love for the Master Who could just take from us but chooses instead to “take joy in doing”… us…” good”, Who chooses not only to receive but also to give, Who desires to, and will respond with, love in return.
May this be the spirit in which we live out our lives being husbands and wives, sons and daughters, loved ones and friends… being fellow human beings with one another.
As we dream our dreams, make our plans, do our jobs, in the work and interactions of everyday life may our first aim be to be in Your will Father, and our goal be to accomplish Your purposes in the places You have put us and with the gifts You have given.
May it be our joy to fulfill our purpose to be a pleasure to You.
May You be lifted up and glorified in it all.
