Minchah Prayer

Updated: Sep 1, 2023

“…The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over…

all His works…

“…All Thy works shall praise Thee…”

“…One generation shall praise Thy works to another…”

“…Every day will I bless Thee, and I will praise Thy name forever and ever…”

Psalm 145:9, 10, 4, 2 AKJV

We are… all is… the work of Your hands.

All… have the capacity to be aware of You, to acknowledge You are and be in wonder of You and of all You have created.

You spoke into existence the imaginings of Your mind and the desire of Your heart.

Incarnate in man You left Your footprints in the dust of the earth, the very earth, You brought into existence with the Word of Your mouth.

You breathed the air, saw with eyes, heard with ears, touched and ministered, comforted and healed human beings…there with them… among us… who in a sense, still in the bodies of those before us, were there as well.

Your body was tortured, the life of that body, by Your own will, giving up the Spirit… a voluntary act in the moment of Your choosing…to prove death temporary, a portal to life eternal for those who so ever will.

You raised The Son and made it so.

The battle is won. The victory is ours.

How strong the flesh, how real the troubles that are, that can cause us to forget what has been done and weaken our faith.

But…

As we “extol Thee” Father…

And” bless” Your name… “forever and ever”…

And as we remember and “speak of the glory of Thy kingdom and talk of Thy power”…

As we “make known to the sons of men” Your “mighty acts , and the glorious majesty of” Your “kingdom”…

That it is “everlasting and” Your “dominion endures through all generations”…

That You “upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down”…

May the power of the flesh and the pains of this world be anesthetized, the troubles and fears of this world lose their power to intimidate, and over us flow a sense of well being and we, all of us, be moved to hearts of genuine thanksgiving.

We pray You would enable this to be so in us Father for without You such a blessing would not be possible…

In the midst of this chaotic world, the ever present darkness crouching at the door, what power, how miraculous and how comforting it is to actually be able to… actually be… thankful.

Thanksgiving to You, Father, and the liberal offering of it, is testimony that we believe and trust in You forever and ever…

it glorifies You…

through it we can be light and life, moved to generosity and be well in our souls.

We thank You Father for Yeshua and for Your faithful, all encompassing provision…watch and keep.

In Yeshua’s name we pray,

Amen.
