Cradled there in Your nearness, before the full light of day, our first act… is to be still, to silently, experience together, with You, the approaching new day, an experience, not of words…out loud or mental… but, of sharing together a real moment in spirit.
We thank You, Father, for that fellowship we can have with You that drifting off into sleep… we know awaits us when we wake.
Thank You for Your nearness as You invest and pour into us blessing of reward when we walk in obedience… and for Your nearness, investing and pouring into us, what may be unpleasant… for correction and building up when we drift… long suffering but never abandoning…
Thank You Father, for the multitude and variety of Your living, functioning creation… be it man, animal, or plant, even dust and stone of our existence.
Thank You that in some way, shape, or form You use each of these to reveal Yourself to us and to teach us what You want us to know… to the end that we be drawn to You and love You and be acceptable to You.
May we never tire, Father, of seeking that knowledge of You, of Your mind and character… May we never tire of communing with You… and that in every kind of circumstance, in our encounters with every kind of person, we would be searching and receptive because therein is something You want us to learn.
Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
There may be too many to declare… Your thoughts “which are to us-ward”…
Yet try we will, to speak and declare…
Glory to You… Abba Dear Father…
In Yeshua’s name we pray…
Amen.
