Vayakhel – Pekudei | The Shabbat Was Never Abolished—God Wanted to Dwell With You, Not Just in the Temple.
Duration: 28:06
Overview
Vayakhel (וַיַּקְהֵל) in Hebrew which means “He Assembled”
Pekudei (פְקוּדֵי) in Hebrew which means “Accountings”
Vayakhel-Pekudei closes Exodus with the Tabernacle’s completion — but the real story isn’t the blueprints. It’s why God placed the Sabbath first, why the people built this one (not Solomon), and what that reveals about how holiness actually works. The Sabbath and Messiah’s rest aren’t opposites — they never were.
