Shoftim | God’s Law Defines Wrong – No Human Vote Ever Could

Duration: 33:34

Overview

Shoftim (שֹׁפְטִים) in Hebrew which means “Judges”

This lesson traces Torah’s establishment of judges and righteous justice — mishpat tzadek (מִשְׁפַּט צֶדֶק) — as proof that morality was never meant to be a majority vote or a personal preference. Moving from a real 1945 war crimes trial to Yeshua’s own defense of the Torah’s authority in Matthew 5, it makes the case that objective right and wrong requires an objective, divinely-given standard — not shifting human opinion.

Scripture references
• Deuteronomy 16 : 18 – 21 : 9
• Luke 4 : 14–15
• Matthew 23 : 1–3; 5 : 17-19

Key Biblical Points:
• Torah Justice Is a Verb, Not a Movement
• Shofet → Judge | Office Established Here
• Majority Vote Cannot Define Morality
• Yeshua Confirmed, Not Cancelled, the Torah
• Torah as Paradigm, Not Mechanical Rulebook
